Freelancer or agency: what actually changes
With one person, there is no account manager between you and the engineer. Questions go straight to the person who builds, and the work is not passed down a chain.
The trade-off is capacity. One person takes on a limited number of projects, so ask about current availability before you fix a launch date. For very large multi-team builds, an agency may suit you better, and I will say so during scoping.
How a project runs
- Scoping call: We cover your goal, audience, pages, integrations and what happens to each enquiry.
- Written scope and quote: Pages, features, timeline and price are agreed in writing before the build.
- Build and review: You review working pages and give feedback before launch.
- Testing: Mobile layout, forms, integrations, accessibility basics and page speed are checked against Core Web Vitals targets.
- Launch and handover: You get access to your accounts, and the setup is documented.
Google's 'good' thresholds for Core Web Vitals are Largest Contentful Paint (LCP) of 2.5 seconds or less, Interaction to Next Paint (INP) of 200 milliseconds or less, and Cumulative Layout Shift (CLS) of 0.1 or less, measured at the 75th percentile of real visits. I build and test to these targets. I do not promise a fixed PageSpeed score, because results also depend on your content, hosting and any third-party scripts you add.

Third-party prices change, so I point you to each provider's official pricing at quote time instead of copying numbers that go stale.
Data, AI and WhatsApp: what to know before you build
Personal data: India's Digital Personal Data Protection Rules were notified on 13 November 2025, and the main operational duties are scheduled to start around 13 May 2027. Any form that collects names or phone numbers should carry a clear notice and consent. I build those parts technically. What your business must do legally is a question for your own counsel, and I do not claim any site is 'DPDP compliant'.
WhatsApp: Meta's Business API terms, effective 15 January 2026, bar AI providers from offering general-purpose assistants as the core product. Bots that serve a business's own customers, such as support, enquiries and updates, are treated differently. WhatsApp can change or enforce its terms, so I check the current policy before building on it.
AI limits: An AI assistant can give a wrong answer. I design it to answer from your approved content, say when it is unsure, tell visitors it is an AI, and pass the conversation to a person. Automations also depend on third-party services whose APIs change, so they need monitoring.
