n8n Workflow Automation Development
n8n workflow automation connects triggers, APIs and business rules into a repeatable process. My n8n work includes lead-generation workflows with GPT-4 and Supabase, CRM updates, reporting, and multilingual feedback routing. The goal is a workflow your team can operate and troubleshoot.

Look for a repeatable sequence across several tools: receive a webhook, validate the input, retrieve related information, update a record and notify a team. Lead processing and feedback triage are examples from my portfolio. Scheduled reporting is another way to connect data sources without repeated manual copying.
Before choosing nodes, map the data contract between steps. Decide which fields are required, how missing values are handled and where the final record belongs. This reduces ambiguous behavior when a source system changes its response.
Designing for failures and retries
API requests can fail or reach rate limits. A production workflow needs a clear retry policy, a way to identify work already completed and a place to inspect failed runs. Blindly rerunning the whole flow can duplicate emails or database writes.
For a proposed build, we can define an execution record containing the input identifier, current status and outcome. Supabase or an existing database can hold that record. Credentials should stay in the deployment’s credential storage, and logs should contain only the information needed for diagnosis.
Deployment and handover
Hosting is a project decision: the right setup depends on who maintains the workflow, which integrations it needs and where its data may be processed. My portfolio includes Docker-based deployment tooling for n8n and Ollama; this experience is relevant when the workflow needs a managed installation process.
Bring a sample payload, the list of apps to connect and the expected daily volume. We can use those details to agree on an initial workflow, test cases, exception handling and ownership after handover. Complex integrations should be scoped before a delivery date or price is promised.

Can n8n connect to a tool without a dedicated integration?
An HTTP API may make an integration possible even when a dedicated node is unavailable. The work depends on the API’s authentication, endpoints and usage limits. If the tool has no supported integration surface, feasibility needs a separate review.
What is the difference between an n8n workflow and an AI agent?
A workflow follows defined steps and conditions. An AI agent can use model output to choose among allowed actions. A workflow can contain an agent, but many integrations only need deterministic steps.
What should I share when requesting an n8n project?
Share the trigger, connected tools, a sanitized example input, the desired output and the expected volume. Include any approval requirements. Do not send passwords or API keys in an initial enquiry.
